Another quick update. Matt Taylor, a Forward for 2. Bundesliga side TUS Koblenz from Irvine, California, had a hat trick today. He doesn’t really factor into the USMNT but it’s cool to see an American have a big day in Europe.

Hey guys. I thought I would submit a review as I just finished watching all 93 minutes of the West Brom : Fulham game. With an extremely surprising change of pace Clint Dempsey got the start and went the whole 90 for Fulham. After watching him the whole game I thought I would let you guys know how he did. Clint was by far the best player on the pitch for Fulham today. I think I counted 5 shots for Clint with 2 on target. He was the most creative player as well making solid runs and making great one touch precise passes. With all the good there was some bad. Even though he made some great runs he struggled with spacing at times and also was reluctant making near post runs. He also played a bit lazy at times but that was mainly due to the fact that Fulham was dispossessed and played all-around awful defense.

As some on this board may know I am a big fan of Clint and believe he will be a huge asset for the national team for qualifying and the 2010 world cup. It was great to see him get a start and go the full 90.

On a side note…who the f*** is Simon Davies…he single handedly lost this game for Fulham and probably kept Clint from scoring at least one goal if not more.

I’m so freaking happy to see some of the names on that list. Freddy, Jozy and Charlie are all guys that I expect to see travel to South Africa and I’ve been pulling heavily for them to get more caps with the senior team. With Ching on the list I doubt Charlie sees any playing time against cuba but it’s good that he’s at least getting recognition and a chance to train with the national team.

The thing that bums me out big time is that Ching is on the list. That means Jozy probably won’t start, which once again will deprive USA fans of seeing the future of the USMNT at the forward position.

Correct me if I’m wrong but they normally cut down to 18 players before the fixture and hopefully that will leave Ching off the list.

Haha, I was wondering if we were going to see a mention of Kenny in that article. Normally I think 5′5″ is too short. But love the video evidence.
