Don't look as down in it GS. Yeah it's a tough draw, but we need those tough matches to toughen us up for the World Cup. Now aside from that Italy isn't really interested in this tournament and their regulars may not take part in this tournament and it might be more of an olympic team from Italy then a full national team. I wanted to see Iraq-USA because I thought it would be interesting and I know more non soccer media would have been intrigued by the tournament then. On a side note in the hex we get Mexico at home Wednesday, February 11th and the away leg is Wednesday, August 12th

Holy god did anybody else see the confederations cup draw????? What an absolute joke. Group A is South Africa, Iraq, New Zealand and Spain!!! Group B is US, Brazil, Italy and Egypt. This is almost as bad as it gets for the US. The only worse draw would have been Spain instead of Egypt in our group. I'm baffled at the awful luck the the US has when it comes to draws for tournaments. Looking forward to a group stage exit....

I'm glad the players we've been calling for Adu, Altidore, and Cooper all played well. Hopefully, this will put more pressure on Bob to stop with the Ching experiment and go with the players who are on form and playing well. For some reason come February 11th I have a feeling B-Squared might actually start Jozy in a meaningful qualifier instead of Ching. Jozy will be in season, Ching will be in his offseason, which is January 1st-December 31st bwahahah! I wonder if Bob takes this into consideration or if he just picks guys based on whomever gets the most bloody noses.
