BMatt: I kind of agree. Wouldn’t a nice compromise be if they played most of their home matches at one set stadium, but then occasionally played elsewhere in the US?

I love being able to see the team too, and I think its good for their exposure BUT I think it gives the perception that they’re “homeless”

Not sure where they do best results wise, but I love the MNT on tour approach for the obvious reason that a wider variety of people get to see them play.

I think that playing at home will really do this team some good. Heres a question for the people bored at work/school: Where, in the US, does this team best? And does the fact that the MNT will constantly rotate stadiums hurt the perception of American Soccer?

Why all this TT bashing??!
Didnt the US also finish Last in their group in the 06 world cup, also with one draw and two losses.
In fact, US let in more goals than TT did. Which is sad considering TT is 80th in ranking (as pointed out above). For a country with a mere 1 million, making it the smallest ever country to qualify for the world cup, I think they did pretty good for themselves.

GS: You’re right. Maybe it’s the fact that they play on manicured pitches and their night games aren’t shrouded in darkness when they play at home.

Is it just me or does the USA play exponentially better at home than away…especially in the CONCACAF? It seems often we have games like the Barbados series where we crush them at home, 8-0, and then play a snoozer in Barbados and grab a 1-0 win.

Due to this I will be ready tomorrow for some creative play and a bunch of goals.
