"I believe that if we have the same starting line-up in colorado come november we will see a much different and more positive outcome."

I really couldn't agree more, GS.

Edu is my 2nd favorite of the New Young Americans (obviously Jozy is number 1, RBNY!). His play was horrible, but in Scotland he's been playing pretty well, perhaps he's too young to be able to balance the SPL and international duties? Maybe he'll be better served by not getting capped next month.

B: I agree. It looked like a number of our guys were very tired early on in the game. The player it seemed to affect the most was Jozy, which actually surprised me quite a bit. Hopefully he learns from this and works on his fitness because it seems to me it wouldn't hurt him to concentrate on it. I still maintain that the pitch had a huge affect on our guys. The youth of this country are creative and quick but toughness on the ball is not their forte. When you put those guys on a field where players are almost always in bunches and their struggling with footing all over the pitch the outcome will not be very good. I believe that if we have the same starting line-up in colorado come november we will see a much different and more positive outcome.

On a side note...Mo Edu struggled greatly and really needs work on his first touch and trapping abilities.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened to Maurice Edu? Is it the godawful Scottish cuisine that made him forget how to not give away the ball?

The US looked so flat. Though I'd never root against them (everybody stare at Laurie and her daughter). The goal was pret-tay, so that shows something, right?

So by the end of the game, both my daughter and I were rooting for TnT. Blasphemous, I know. But the US had already qualified, ant TnT wanted it more.

Let the US learn from this.
