Video Evidence: US MNT Begin Preparations in D.C.

October 7th, 2008 | By: Brooks Peck | 4 Comments »

The OFFICIAL US MNT blog posted the latest Studio 90 News Update today, giving viewers a glimpse at the team’s training in D.C. for this weekend’s match against Cuba, as well as their thoughts on being there.

While watching, keep an eye out for:

-The least charismatic host of anything ever.
-Bob Bradley perfecting the gym teacher stance in the background.
-Brian Ching! And, hey, his nose isn’t bleeding!
-Landon Donovan almost saying, “D.C. fans are clearly…insane…”
-Mr. Cakes then going on to call out Cuba for their crappily lit pitch.
-Host Michael Kammarman wrapping things up by attempting to say an entire paragraph in a single breath and almost blacking out as his voice reaches a comically unnatural pitch.

I think Mr. Kammarman’s choppy sentences can be attributed to him trying to sift through the information he receives from those satellite ears while trying to convert his thoughts into sentences.

Again, I hope Ching doesn’t start. It will ruin the night for me.

My 12 year old cousin can grow a better beard than Ching.

Frankie looks like he’s recovered well from his hangover. Did everybody else see the video of him drinking with Crew fans?

Landon has no idea what a “European Crowd” sounds like. He cries when he leaves the Hemisphere.

ESPN CLASSIC!? WTF! Why can’t this get on a normal channel?

Yeah, ESPN and ESPN2 are both airing college football games at 8 pm, so soccer takes a backseat. Surprised?

I look forward to regular updates on random Big East football games during the qualifier.
