Video Evidence: Watch The Boys Scrimmage, Yell Each Other’s Names

The OFFICIAL US MNT blog posted some more goodies today. I hate to completely rip off their content, but it’s interesting, so oh well…

First up is another Studio 90 News Update. Keep an eye out for:

-Oh sweet Pappy Johnson, Michael Kammarman is back. And this time he clearly doesn’t know what to do with his hands.
-Bob Bradley sounding badass.
-An extended look at a scrimmage that is actually kind of compelling.
-Bob Bradley literally standing in the goal during said scrimmage. How do you take a shot when your coach is standing in the goal? “AAAHHHH I DARE YOU TO SHOOT AT MY HEAD!!!”
-Jozy sporting some blinding yellow boots that melt the keeper’s eyeballs just before he scores on him.
-Bradley wrapping things up (maybe Kammarman really did black out this time when forgetting to take a breath while asking the question?) by again sounding kind of badass.

They also have a brief interview with new kid Jose Francisco Torres. A couple of highlights:

Jose: “I thought my teammates might be different, because sometimes in Mexico your teammates can be difficult. But here everyone treated me well. I felt comfortable with everyone very quickly. The coach is really cool, and everyone on the staff has been great.”

Anyone surprised by that first part?

Jose: “When I put on the shirt I get the chills, because it’s a dream. I think it is everyone’s dream as a kid to be on the national team. Right now I think I’m living it, and when I put the shirt on I’m very excited and motivated to start playing. My choice was always to come here and represent the country was where I was born.”

I’m sorry, but that’s pretty cool. Hear that, Rossi?
