Google Translate to the Rescue?
Pia Sundhage recently spoke to the Swedish site Damfotboll to confirm the new women’s professional league will be all sorts of “damproffsliga” come this Spring (apparently the translator missed that word). She also said the USWNT will work around the new league’s schedule (April to September) with “two pre-April collections.” She continued: “Before that, we will participate in the Algarve Cup in March.” I’m guessing the two collections may be the remaining stops on this Achieve Your Gold Tour thingy… a tour that seems to think California seceded from the Union already. But I’m always open to – I dunno – someone who speaks Swedish informing me what she really said in the comments.
