Aim Lower
Perhaps you’ve already seen this, but below is a video of Freddy Adu and Michael Bradley playing a game of hit the crossbar in training. At least, I think it was in training. It could have been during the Olympic team’s game against Nigeria — you know, the one neither of these guys could play in because they were both suspended and the team ended up going home after because Orozco couldn’t keep his elbows to himself. Yeah, that one.
Anyway, enjoy:
Also, LA Galaxy hired former U.S. national team manager Bruce Arena to replace Ruud Gullit, who resigned last Monday due to personal reasons (I’m guessing he needed time off to focus on getting back to this).
I’m sure this will work out well. After all, the last time Arena and Landon Donovan teamed up, they produced great results.

Can I just say that I thoroughly enjoy the Turner Classic Movies banner ads that I’m seeing on this post? Seriously, I wish Robert Osborne was my grandpa.
And yes, I am both reading and commenting on my own post. Deal with it.

Il Bruce is both coach and GM of the Galaxy.
Yeah we’ll see how well that goes.

I’d rather watch a video of Bradley and Adu writing 100,000 times on a chalkboard ” I will not take stupid yellow cards for no F-ing reason in big competitions”. That would be compelling theater.
Looking for a big performance tomorrow, but tell me, WHEN is Bob B going to put somebody in the center of midfield that can create, not just hold, and WHO can it be (other than Freddy)? Not many options.
As far as Bruce goes, I’m a bit tired of his act so I don’t really care where he coaches or if he coaches. I wonder though, does this change Landon’s so-called desire to play in Europe? I would sure like to see him make a go of it, even if he will miss Bianca and the dogs.
