More on Donovan, Munich, and Klinsmann. Looks like Jurgen wants the move to at the very least be until the end of the Bundesliga season.

Good one kyle. Always good to get a FlagFootball Champions remark in there. I know Klinsmann liked Landon, but usually managers will refrain some from commenting if they are interested in a player or like a player, but Klinsmann had no apprehensions on mentioning how much he thought of Landon.

I personally can tell Psuedinho that he is definitely right. Me and him have a connection like we used to live on the same block or something. Landon is good enough to make the squad at Munchen. He is the best US player by far and everyone will soon realize it. By the way me and Psuedinho are thee Illinois Church FlagFootballl Champions of 08 so suck it baby!

GS, I feel as if somehow we were separated at birth or something. Should I be worried?....LOL! Klinsman loves the L.A. lifestyle and lived their several years and knows Landon well, FC Bayern brashly calls it self Hollywood FC, what's better for Hollywood FC then to have a player from the L.A. area? Jurgen = not your typical German. Which is a good thing for Landon. Because Americans have had problems breaking into squads in Europe just based on the fact that they are Americans. This will not be the case with Landon and Jurgen. So if he succeeds then it will be based on production and if he fails it will be based on production and no other outside biases should come into play at least in this situation.

Brooks: I now feel dumb for making that comment. Obviously the transfer/loan won't go through until Jan. 1st or after. Not sure what I was thinking.

About Landon's playing time pseudinho has it right, once again. Klinsman is a world man. He's not caught up on nationalities, he's caught up on who's going to produce the best results. Bayern is probably the best German club Landon could have ended up at especially if he's getting minutes.

yeah afshin, i see what you are saying but i think the klinsmann reign at bayern hasn't fully gone by the germans-first rule, as bayern is now heavily dependent on many foreign players such as ribery, luca toni, and ze roberto, while their most prominent benchrider (lucas podolski) is german. i think he will get a satisfactory amount of playing time, as klinsmann will want to see enough of donovan to know whether to keep him or not.

This is a total Klinsman move. He wanted him there, so I think it's likely Landon will at least get his opportunity to prove himself. Klinsman is one of the few world managers that actually doesn't have negative bias towards American players. Landon will have to fight for playing time, but I think it may be likely he'll be getting minutes. At his positions the depth at Bayern isn't their. On the wings Bayern has Ribery and Shweinsteigher. Up front that have Toni and Klose. And Podolski who seems to be the thirs player at both those positions will likely be gone January 1st.
