Szetela NOT Sold, Loan Extended

A quick confirmation before Tuesday rolls around.

I had written last week that Szetela had permanently moved to Italian Serie B side Brescia from Racing Santander. That no longer appears to be the case, as Goal.com reports that his loan was simply extended through this coming year. So, after all is said and done, it looks like Szetela will still be the property of a La Liga club.

I think it is great news. It means they see something in the kid. Why not just sell him if he is of no value to the club?

I caught a game of his with Brescia and he played well, playing in Italy isnt easy, because the fans have little to no patience for americans, so I was impressed.

Relax…Szetela is going to become very important for Brescia team, may be they will buy him completely from Santander next season (2008/2009) when they will play in “SERIE A”.
