10 v 11 Scrimmage
The players had their first full scale 11 v 11 scrimmage on Sunday, no video available as yet but it’ll be posted if and when. A first hand report can be found here.
The second half of the scrimmage was played 10 v 11. “The team with 10 should not give up a goal, and the team with 11 should get a goal,” Arena explained. “That’s the exercise there. You got to learn how to play with an advantage, and a disadvantage, at times. To get that in early is good.”
There’s also a new podcast with Arena discussing how the first few days of camp have gone (he’s happy), Cory Gibbs chances (he’s “fighting to get into the first eleven,”) and talking about increased media attention (more on that later).
Players now have a day off before camp resumes on Tuesday.
