First, let's slot Pearce in at left back since he's being pimped out so well. Behrhalter and Pope in the middle, Cherondolo on the right. Bruce hasn't moved Donovan upfront - yet - but let's hope he at least slots him wide for this game with Convey out wide on the left. Maestroni and Olsen in the middle. This should be Olsen's big shot to make the team. Barring a really impressive substitution performance, Zavagnin's window probably closed after the Poland game. I guess it's not completely inconceivable that Arena gives him or Klein the starting nod. Twellman and Johnson upfront. Johnson to prove whether he should be considered a starter and Twellman to prove he deserves minutes. Wolf comes on for 20-30 minutes to prove he score as a sub, which is the only role he's got a shot at right now. Brian Ching makes his last trip to Germany for the US. Would prefer to put Hejduk to pasture and have never seen a reason to be excited about Zavagnin. Overall a good selection given the limited number of European players available.
