Arena Will Name 35-man pool on April 12
Bruce Arena will name a 35 man pool of players on April 12, less than 24 hours after the Jamaica game. The 35 will later be reduced to 23, so if you’re not in the 35 you’re not going to the World Cup. I’m talking to you Freddy.
The 35 will be posted first on ussoccer.com at 3 p.m. eastern, but will appear here faster than you can say “copy and paste.”
UPDATE: The 35 player pool announcement is no longer happening.

Should we play around with trying to guess the player pool?
If we assume that our 23 that we picked for the cup is correct, we need to add 12.
The names that come to mind for me are:
Ben Olsen
Kerry Zavagnin
Pat Noonan
Brian Ching
Jimmy Conrad
Heath Pearce
Jonathon Spector
Freddy Adu
Any others?

You sure it would be Reis and not Hartmann?
It seemed that if Arena grabbed for a US-based GK it was always Hartmann…

I just read on ussoccer.com that the 35 player pool was not going to be posted anymore. If you wanna see for your self it’s in the Jamaica – USA game article.
