i want to see Edu in this match, i don’t care if the rest of our midfield are attacking mids or wingers, Mo can clean it up also, i think with Dempsey’s good performance at Fulham over the weekend, he should be allowed a start and subbed off maybe around 60 or 70 mins

I couldn’t agree more Marlon. The fact that he’s not even getting off the bench for a dreadful bundesliga team is an absolute joke. Hopefully the firing of their head coach will lead to some changes that include him getting some playing time otherwise I actually hope he gets loaned out.

I just think we could possibly be a little better if we put Boca on the wing because he’s been there all year at Rennes and he used to be there for the Fire. Demerit is a regular at Watford and Califf is pretty much a regular at Midtyland or however u spell it lol. Even Orozco has more upside than Pierce because he is younger and more likely to be in the picture in 2010 and beyond. Bradley got a small part of my support back but it could all go away if he wastes these guys time and leaves them on the bench. Play them both games Bob I think we can handle the minnows.

Kyle… I like that line up!!! That would make for an interesting start. I also believe we should mix up the back line a bit. Since we have discovered that Pearce, Gooch, Boca, Dolo is a great back four, maybe we should be prepared for an injury and try out some other back four look while we don’t “need” the points…

I’m a big fan of seeing Altidore up front. I think he could be USA’s #1 strike force!!!

Very good article… the demotion of Eddie Johnson makes me smile. I’d like to see Cooper come in so everyone will finally shut up when he goes without a goal. People forget that EJ had the same kind of numbers in his last season in MLS that Coop has this year. I’m not convinced that Coop would be any more effective on the international level. I like Cooper and he’s fun to watch in MLS but he isn’t going to get the time on the ball that he does in MLS. He needs to learn to use his head in the box before he will be effective. I’d like to see this lineup for the first game.
