Bradley Will Dress For Send-Off Series
Rumour has it that Michael Bradley will dress for the Send-Off Series, and may get his first cap in one of the games.
The 18 year old Heerenveen midfielder, formerly of the Metrostars (when they still existed) had been making up the numbers at the Cary training camp. Either he impressed Bruce enough to earn a debut, or it’s a nice thank you for helping out the team.
The Dale Gribble conspiracy theorists out there believe it’s all politics, and Bruce is returning a nepotistic favour to Michael’s dad Bob Bradley, who gave Kenny Arena a chance at Metrostars.
More likely, Bradley is a promising player for the future (possibly the most promising player not named Freddy Adu) but one without a shot at making the roster this time round who could therefore join the camp without any pressure.
