The US has soundly defeated Mexico at every opportunity outside of Mexico, and Mexico has never made it past the Round of 16 when it wasn't the host. So why does a decent showing at a useless tournament carry so much weight? Does anyone really think Mexico has a chance to make the semi-finals of this tournament?
