Is’nt it funny the way americans like yourself ‘StrikerGA’ don’t have the faintess clue on how to insult someone, especialy someone who is’nt one of your ‘type’. All you can manage is resorting to abusing someone with names and stereotypical crap. As we say in downunder ‘the 100% american is 99%idiot’. ;)

Lewis, what the hell are you doing here, you goddamn troll? GTFO. Go back to your little island, which, BTW, knows a lot about weak regions. For the record, no, I don’t think the US is the 11th best team in the world, and that doesn’t bother me.

As for the actual post… why would anyone have second thoughts about Bob Bradley? Bradley has continually vindicated his supporters. He certainly won’t be starting Casey in the World Cup, but he did judge that Casey merited a start in a game that mattered, and all he did was bag two goals and send the US to the World Cup. Call them flukes if you want (the second goal, by the way, was anything but – our strikers have always flubbed chances like that), but that’s pretty weak. Bradley made a move no one agreed with and he got it right. He deserves credit for that. Starting Casey in an obviously contingent scenario against CR shouldn’t factor into any judgment.

And… the US has no shot at a seed. None. Unless FIFA makes some drastic changes in the seeding criteria.

Gotta love the WNT/WPS players’ accessibility through social media. Even Yael and HAO have joined in on the fun.

“While your at it, make your English teacher proud and fix up your grammar.”

While you’rE at it. You almost had it!

anyways, there’s no doubt that the USMNT has come along way since the 90’s, when alexi lasis was your best player (LOL).

But US still has a long way to go, especially in the world cup. out of the last 4 world cups, you guys managed to get to the round of 16 twice, and once as a THIRD PLACE team (1994).

The German side was the better team. But they missed too many goal opportunities and got punished by Abby Wambach. But that’s the game.
The European Champion dominated the game, especially at the beginning against the very fit looking US National team. Germany’s wing players put a lot of pressure on the US Defence. Coach Silvia Neid‘s team had a lot of goal opportunities but didn’t finish accurate enough. The crowd (28.367 – sold out) saw a good first half by the German side in the Augsburger Impuls Arena.

But Abby Wambach scored out of nowhere the 0:1 lead for the girls from the USA. Germans goalie Nadine Angerer didn’t look too good. After the goal, Germany kept attacking. But the American side adapted to the German game. They even had a chance in the 76. Minute by Wambach. But she got pushed from behind, but the referee from Hungary didn’t call a penalty. The European Champion lost their strength and the US side finished confident.
It was a good game with a lot of speed. The German crowd was very happy about the performance of both teams.

Yeah, despite the US midfield having issues getting the ball forward – which may have more to do with lack of organization over a tight German defense – I’d say the two teams were pretty evenly matched. Too bad it was such a pain in the ass to watch!

Tobin Heath was ill with flu-like symptoms. Otherwise she would have started.

Grown Ass Man scored a couple of goals in a reserve match for Fulham. Is it time he gets another look? I’m not seeing FrankenCooper, and I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen an Altidore/GAM pairing.

Marlon, etc. — Why did coach Cabrera replace his captain? Is Perry injured, or did he really underperform vs Spain as alleged by the ESPN reporter?

Well…Wilmer will be raked over the coals without doubt following his team’s inability to close out when they seemed to be the better team in ball possession and movement. However, the opposition Azzuri were the team that finished out the US chances once again. Jack McInerney will be regarded as having “disappointed”, but how can you apply that tag, when so much was placed on the shoulders of just one young forward to provide the USA’ offense? No, the biggest disappointment will be considered the coaching decisions prior to the tournament.

Wow, that guy sure knows how to address fans. “Hey fans, we want you to support us, and we expect you to continue to do so, but sit on it. (insert birdie here)”

BTW, any news as to how Davies is doing?

First off- When I say “football” I do not mean soccer, I am referencing American style football. US soccer in comparison to European standards is flawed or is it still not well developed, yet? Soccer in the US is just not embraced enough as it should be, thus far. As it may sound repetitive to many people, this countries main sport is, and will always be, American Football. Kids here don’t grow up playing soccer, unlike the rest of the world. NEWS FLASH—–Europe, South America, and basically every other continent outside of North America, well…..their main sport is soccer!!! The MLS is not as experienced as other countries in soccer because it has not been around as long. We are still, in a way, the new kids on the block in soccer. Saying that US soccer is terrible compared to European soccer is kind of like saying the European Football League is terrible compared to the NFL. NEWS FLASH——The European Football League has not been around very long compared to the NFL. Likewise, the MLS has not been around very long compared to European leagues. Not to shy from the truth, US soccer is getting better; however, you can’t expect it to be better than European soccer or any other countries soccer because we are still a young to the sport. There will be a day, when the US can be competitive enough to hang with European soccer, but it will take time. Fernando, cheer for your team or get the hell out of the stadium.

The mother of a soldier who died from the wounds he received while on service in Afghanistan has said he will always be a hero.
Linda Buchanan’s comments came after the funeral of her 27-year-old son, Corporal Thomas Mason, known as Tam. http://www.tradertrade.com
The soldier from Fife was caught by an improvised explosive device in Kandahar Province on 15 September 2009. http://www.tradertrade.com
Cpl Mason was flown back to the UK but died at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham on 25 October. http://www.tradertrade.com
His funeral took place at Trinity Parish Church in Cowdenbeath, Fife, followed by a burial at Douglas Bank Cemetery.www.tradertrade.com
In a statement,www.tradertrade.com Mrs Buchanan and Tam’s stepfather Charlie Buchanan said the family had gone through the “most traumatic and difficult” time.
They said: “Tam died as a result of doing the job he loved, a job he was proud and honoured to do. http://www.tradertrade.com
“To us he always has been and always will be a hero.”
The family also paid tribute to The Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland for their “tributes to Tam and for the reverence they showed while laying their brother to rest”. http://www.tradertrade.com
