Germany v USA Live Blog

Speaking of confidence, where does that leave team USA? We have now dropped to 0-9 in Europe against the major soccer powers of Germany, England, Italy, France, and Spain. We have been outscored 26-4 in those games. Our last warm-up against a World Cup qualifier will be a 4-1 thrashing against Germany. Is that what we really want?

Maybe it’s not what we want, but it’s all USA can get. For now. When we get better players (must be a lot lot lot better) then we might have a chance. For the moment let’s enjoy the ranking USA gets and pretend it’s true.
