Gibbs Joins O’Brien At Den Haag

Cory Gibbs battled back from a long term knee injury only for Feyenoord coach Erwin (not as good as Ronald) Koeman to deem him surplus to requirements. Early reports suggested Gibbs would be released from his contract but it now seems that Gibbs will stay in Holland and be loaned out to ADO Den Haag for the rest of the season, where he will join fellow American John O’Brien. Good news and all, but are Den Haag collecting injury prone US internationals? Maybe they’ll sign Eddie Johnson next…
