Success.

It feels good to say that again.

It may not have been the Jozy or Freddy show, but it was something much more tangible, another result on foreign soil.

Thanks to the ‘Dolo strike, it was the second in a row for the United States.

These may not be the goalazo-fest, highlight reel games but they are essentially what build the spine of a team at this point in the cycle. It is very promising indeed to see the boys picking up results such as these at this point before qualifying starts. They are learning to win, and that is what it’s all about.

Plus they got to play with a sick multi-colored ball and win some completely unimportant silverware. Check the official site for a behind the scenes look.

How do you think the progress is coming? Happy with the youngsters? Fed up with others? Discuss…

Was expecting to see Jozy come in earlier than he did, and hoping to see a Deuce/Adu/Jozy triple-threat up front. Oh well, perhaps next year.
