This will certainly be Lewis's last World Cup, as he will be 36 by the time the 2010 WC rolls around. Demerit himself is no spring chicken, but he'll still be only 30 by the time of the 2010 WC. If he spends the next four years getting regular playing time and doing well in the premiership, he could really help us (imagine a Gooch-Demerit tandem ...)
