Thanks, César.

Benfica sounds like a good idea.

Really, though, Adu needs to go somewhere that will give him a fighting chance to play regularly. So I think it's less about the league than about the team and its short- to mid-term needs. And I find those a bit difficult to prognosticate.

Hi there, I'm a S.L.Benfica fan.

The Portuguese league, and Benfica in particular would probably be the right place for Adu to develop into the next level.

We have a rich history, having won 2 Champions League, and being the biggest club in Portugal with most domestic titles, we also are the club with most fans in Portugal, and the club on the world with most associates (currently entered in the Guiness Records).

We are playing in the Champions League, so Adu would also be getting real European experience. He would play along the great man and player that is Rui Costa, that could teach him lots of things, on and off the field. We also have other experienced and great players like Luisão, Simão Sabrosa, Nuno Gomes between many others, a team with ambition to fight for title, and to do something in the Champions League.

Oh, and I don't need to mention Eusébio, do I?

It would be better for everyone, Adu, Benfica, and the USA.

Regards and sorry for my English.
