Press Still Asking About Adu

They just can’t help themselves can they? Ahead of the clash with Poland someone at a press conference couldn’t resist asking Bruce about Freddy Adu’s chances of making the World Cup roster. Arena diplomatically gave his standard reply of “Freddy is a very good player. It’s not likely, but you never know.”

I thought we were beyond this. Surely asking if Adu will make the final roster is as stupid as asking if Nate Jaqua or Kyle Martino will make the final roster.
