I think they must have been watching Gibbs. He was with Feyenoord. Michael Bradley might have been the guy too- he just moved from MLS to Heerenveen.

Dempsey doesn’t make squat in MLS (I think like $80k) and he just had a fight with someone on his team. I’m sure he wants to go. Dempsey, Mastroeni, and Johnson would all be good guesses.

Even if Dillon wasn’t there to watch Mastroeni, Pablo must have impressed him in the Send Off Series.

I imagine that a lot of teams are taking a wait-and-see approach to Eddie Johnson. If he manages to show that he can compete at this level, I think the offers will come pouring in.

As for Onyewu, he would probably do well to wait until after the World Cup, he’s expected to have a good one, and that can only increase his value.

I say the one that moved is Tim Howard, to Everton. Maybe they wanted to make a deal from Man U.

My guess for who they are watching is Johnson.

Which team did Gibbs come from, and which team picked him up?

I agree. Berhalter has moved, but didn’t join the squad until late into the Send-Off Series, making Gibbs the logical choice.

If Gooch is the second player, the third remains a mystery.
