Spector’s Slim World Cup Hopes Just Got Slimmer

Jonathan Spector received what may be the final nail in his World Cup coffin when he dislocated his shoulder playing for Charlton against Portsmouth on Easter Monday. That type of injury normally keeps players out for 3 to 4 weeks and Arena is set to name his roster in just over 2 weeks time (May 2nd). Spector was doubtful anyway but an injured Spector definitely won’t be selected.
