Let me be the very first to say…..what a JACKASS!

littleguy,
You’re not familiar with Colbert’s shtick, are you? The joke is, he typically lampoons pro-Bush (I won’t say “conservative” becauseI consider myself conservative) pundits on a TV show with a very anti-Bush audience. The joke is that apparently someone in the Bush Administration didn’t get the humor either. He somehow got invited to do a comedy routine at a fancy official dinner where he got to ridicule GWB to his face!
Suffice it to say, it is plainly satirical in nature.

No Philip, littleguy was right.
Colbert is a jackass.

Phillip, I do know the Colbert routine and, as a conservative myself, I know he MEANS IT! There is nothing satirical about his act, he like Franken, Letterman, Jon Stewart and the like, all mean it in the strongest way. He can try to cover his bull@#$% with a slathering of “it’s just a joke” but I ain’t buyin’ it-he’s a total jackass.

Even he really means a joke, it is the most disgusting joke that I’ve ever heard. How dare he insulted other nations, he said that he never heard the name of XXXX, now imagine if you are people in XXXX, how would you feel?
He is a DICKHEAD.

The good people of the U.S.A. dont care about the World cup. Who wants to see an asperin cicked on a field of green? If these so called athletes were so good at a low scoring game, why dont they strap on a pair of skates and play it on ice? Rugby makes european football look like a girl school outing.

“Who wants to see an asperin cicked on a field of green?”
Well, about 1 in 2 of everyone in this world will watch this low scoring game. And you can not compare Rugby and Football because it depends on each individual preference. However, to say good people of the USA don’t care about World Cup, then WTF you are doing here?
It also proves that you are a jerk.

I am right as rain and you know , . Were did you get the 1 in 2 people stat? Im thinking you pulled it out of your ass. Statistically speaking their are roughly 6 billion people on Earth. 1 Billion have no modern amenities. Half of impovrished nations dont have food to go around, let alone a tv with reception. So just were do you think that they other 3.5 billion people who have some sort of acces will make the shortage? I cant find 20 people I know who care about the world cup. As for me I watched about 1 minute of the USA game.
