There Will Be Blood (…But Hopefully It’s an Opponent’s This Time)

Well, Brian McBride is officially coming back to MLS…but not until after the Olympics.
For anyone who hasn’t fully realized how awesome it is to have McBride back on the national team, rocking the red, white and blue one last time, here’s a video that Fulham apparently put on their official site to honor the man who pretty much single-handedly kept them in the Prem.
(On a side note, I’m pretty sure you could set a montage of people eating soup to that song and it would still be epic and inspiring.)

ah how cool would it be if he scored at least one goal in the olympics?

I expect a few goals from him in the olympics. I’m excited he’s with the team. Ironic that he’ll be playing in Chi town with the hated Blanco, rival of so many years on the MNT. McBride, I recommend the old Liquid Heat in the jockstrap gag. Caliente! caliente!
When the Fire come to town to play against Real SL the stadium fills up with Club America and Mexico jerseys. I hate that guy. He’s a great player, unfortunately.

Ok. I tested out your theory and blared “There Goes My Hero” in my ipod at lunch and proceeded to completely annihilate two cans of Campbell’s Chunky Cheddar and Bacon Bits before spiking them off my stove top in a celebration of my domination.
