If anyone is in NYC and looking for a place to watch the games, I heard that the Samsung Experience at Time Warner Center is showing EVERY game during the tournament. It’s just above the 59th street subway station at Columbus Circle. No food or booze but where else can you watch all the games on 12 HD screens ranging from 42” to 80” plasmas? It’s free! There is seating, and you can stay as long as you like. Check out this spot on the 3rd floor of the Time Warner Center. They are also raffling off an official Chelsea Samsung Mobile Jersey every game day. Should be cool…

How about discussing ESPN's announcers? If we're ever going to be anything approaching a soccer nation it's gotta improve (and maybe someone in CT will actually read this?).
Personally, I love Derek Rae, and like J.P. Dellacamera (can he do more men's games?); I find Rob Stone adequate (if only that), boosted by Eric Wynalda's insightful, honest, and interesting commentary. But from there it's a long and awful fall -- can't Dave O'Brien talk about the GAME occasionally instead of players' hairstyles or Grandmas? And if I hear 'Celo say "nice-n-easy" one more time I'm gonna turn the tube off for good.
