USC v Hammarby

Those who didn’t play against Canada got their chance to impress in this low-key game against Swedish club side Hammarby. If the European players are our A team, and the MLS players are our B team, then this must have been the C team. Undeterred by their lowly status, USC won 2-1 win with goals from Rolfe and Noonan.
You can read the match report here (if you speak Swedish). The rest of you are going to have to trust me.
Bruce Arena went back to 4-4-2, with Adu pushing on and Carroll as the holding midfielder. Santino Quaranta got his chance wide on the right, while Dunivant became the latest in a long line of left backs. The starting line up looked like this:
—————Guzan————-
Klein-Ihemelu-Boswell-Dunivant
————–Carroll————-
Quaranta———-Noonan
—————Adu—————-
———Rolfe — Jaqua——–
Half time substitutions were:
Wells for Guzan
Hedjuk for Klein
Adu for Martino
According to eye-witness reports Rolfe, Adu and Ihemulu impressed most.
I should stress this was a scrimmage, not a real friendly, so no caps were won or debuts made.
What does this mean for the Norway game (29th Jan)? It means Adu and Rolfe should get another chance, but looks like Quaranta has missed an opportunity to impress.
