Whole Squad Going To San Diego
January 22nd, 2006 | By: Daryl | No Comments »
Bruce Arena is taking the whole training squad to San Diego, instead of cutting the roster as originally planned. Though he will select an 18 man squad for the Canada game all 27 uninjured squad members will make the trip.
There are also highlights of another intra-squad scrimmage available at the US Soccer site. It’s red versus blue again, with Arena giving a pre-game “the ball’s got to be on the floor” talk which the players seemed to follow. The red team won 1-0 through a goal from Josh Wolff (assist Clint Dempsey).
