Ginormous Olympic TV Schedule Post

August 4th, 2008 | By: Melissa | 4 Comments »

If you are a fan of the USA team and the women’s game, then it’s definitely time for you to click on over to the WPS FanZone, sign up for an account, and friend me (so far, I only have one friend and I am lonely). This site is rolling out some pretty cool Olympic coverage – including blogs from Leslie Osborne and Cat Whitehill, forums to discuss the games, and pictures & videos from the team. And their slogan, “Beijing Now. WPS Next.” (and their name) should give you a pretty big clue where they inevitably plan to take this site. Yeah, you can even pledge your allegiance to a future WPS team and discuss who you’d like to see play for them.

I’m still poking around the site and finding new, cool things but I did a little dance of joy when I discovered a post laying out all the Olympic TV coverage (including replays) for the women’s side. And I would like to personally thank whoever went out of their way to compile this list because myself and my one friend on the WPS FanZone site have been seriously stressing about how we are going to watch this stuff. Anyways, here is the list:

Karyn & B-dub: I think the consensus is, we want a list of the p2p urls showing the games! So far, I’ve found zero feeds for women’s games. Plenty for men’s games - even ones in places like friggin Uzbekistan (yes, I am exaggerating just a leetle bit). Seriously, I was shocked no one supplied a feed, even for the USA v Brazil friendlies.
