Youngster Watch: Brek Shea
While Jozy Altidore has already jetted off to Spain, and Michael Bradley is lining up his summer move to England, it could be Brek Shea that has this summer’s biggest transfer abroad.
Who you ask?
Brek Shea. An 18 year old 6ft 3in monster who can play just about anywhere you, or Sir Alex Ferguson, may want him to. I’ll help you with your first introduction. Meet Brek.
Acting as the silver lining to the big black dark cloud that was the Toulon tournament in France for the USA U-23 team, Brek Shea seems to have caught the eye of Manchester United’s top scout Jim Lawlor. Currently a rookie for FC Dallas in MLS, Shea has played in only a grand total of 2 games for a combined 17 minutes. An interesting stat line for someone that apparently has the reigning European champions hot on their tail, but stranger things have happened.
Brek Shea. You might just want to remember that name.
