Bild Reporting Klinsmann Rejected USA
German tabloid rumour-mongers Bild are apparently reporting that Klinsmann said “nein” to US Soccer because they didn’t offer him enough cash. The story goes that Klinsi wanted $2.5 mill, but Sunil only put $1.8 mill (pictured) on the table.
I’m sure it’s all part of the ongoing negotiations and Bild are blowing things out of all proportion. But I wish Sven Goran Eriksson would accept another job somewhere, just to be on the safe side.

Come on Klinsman, don’t negogiate in the press, come Soccer USA, don’t lose this chance for a legitimate coach, no more recycled failure college coachs or La Crosse experts

I hope to God that Klinsman comes to the US.

For a good coach nowadays, I’d think it has been upped to at least 2 million after both Sven and Klinsmann. Round it up to that number, then maybe we will see.

I hope Klinsman does take the USA, because Mexico just got the legendary Real Madrid Player, Hugo Sanchez as the National Coach. I wish the best for the US for its National Coach. I also hope it will be Klinsman so that Mexico can continue to have a rival.

Yeah!!! We need the competition soooo bad !!!

So what happened did Klinsman stayed with the USA or what!!!

Bild reporting… haha. Believe 25% of what they write. In my opinion, the reason why the negotiations have nothing to do with money but the fact that Klinsmann wants total control of team. Away from the political soccer style and into exciting offensive soccer.

Granted, Italy played Euro style and they won the cup. I personally thought they were the most boring team in the line up. The USA was better a few years ago when they were not expected to excel. They played and had fun and got further than in 2006.
