José Pekerman Interviewed By US Soccer?
Apparently “sources [have] revealed to ESPN.com that Gulati recently interviewed Argentina’s José Pekerman for the job.” Great news if it’s true. If a coach of Pekerman’s stature enters the running, it’s no longer Klinsmann then everyone else.
Pekerman’s plus points are a dedication to passing football and his success with nurturing young talent. The downside is that he has no familiarity with US Soccer, but the more I think about that, the less it matters. International coaches have so much free time between games that Pekerman (or someone else unfamiliar with MLS, ODP etc) will have plenty time to work things out.

Leave Jose Pekerman where he is. Mr. Gulati, USA Soccer is not the mafia and you are not the last don. Give Juergen Klinsmann the authority he wants, step aside and let someone who knows what he’s doing run the show. Apparently you guy at the USSF haven’t a clue.

Jose Pekerman is the most qualified man for the position and not only for the Men national team but also the youth sistem
