I am so tired of the USSF. We have junior talent and nothing else. Once our players get to the senior team level they fall into the black hole that is the USSF. To actually have an opportunity to play Copa America and not be already training for it is unforgivable. The USSF should be using the Copa as an meet and greet to have consistent friendlies with the best in SA. We should also be playing our enemies across the border all the time in all age groups. We need to follow their (Mexico's) example in trying to get to the elite level not continue to schedule friendlies once every eight months against the Denmarks and Scotlands of the world. When you have a spectacular opportunity, you take it. That's a rule. If this was a money issue, we are the wealthiest country in the world. He could go back to coach Germany or come on to lead a team like the US through the end of qualifying. Even with Steve Sampson as coach, the US should qualify for 2010 easily.
