It amazes me that they’re thinking about hiring Sven. He’s unproven at this level, has never shown much passion as England’s coach. There are hundreds of better people who wouldn’t even ask six-figures. Sven is just milking his old reputation as a club coach for whatever money’s still in it. Klinsmann and Pekerman are standout people for the job. US Soccer should be delighted that they’re interested.
