The Yanks will make the hike up to Azteca to partake in a deathly intense exhibition (nothing with these two is friendly) with El Tri on September 9th. The team’s friendly schedual for the year is actually looking really good…

Sept. 9 Mexico Estadio Azteca (Mexico City) 3:00 p.m. CT ESPN2 / Univision
Oct. 14 Catalonia Nou Camp (Barcelona, Spain) TBD FSC / Galavision
Oct. 17 Switzerland St. Jakob Park (Basel, Switzerland) 2:30 p.m. ET FSC / Galavision

Who knows what the roster will look like at Azteca, but either way it will be an experience for those that get to go and (hopefully) continue the dominance over Mexico after the Gold Cup final.

After what transpired at the Gold Cup this is going to be scintillating match up. It’ll be interesting to see how the US will react at the Azteca. The record at home is good, but winning away is even more impressive.

The USA has never beaten Mexico south of the border so we´ll see if their recent dominance can survive in the Azteca, I smell revenge for Mexico.

Every web site insist this game is being aired on Univision, but the Telemundo network is promoting the game live on their network. Can anybody explain the confusion?
