South Africa sounds like fun

South Africa: so unsafe you can’t even go outside. Keep that in mind if you’re planning a World Cup trip next year.
Now, will someone please Respect The Adu and play Twitter 20 questions or something with him?

On another note….Italy really struggled with New Zealand, but eventually scored a 4-3 win.

No, Nicholas, I think you are Freddy’s monkey. Now put on your dancing shoes and do a little jig to entertain this man, who is representing your nation. It’s your patriotic duty to drop it like it’s hot until Freddy is no longer bored.

No wonder Freddy’s bored.

I bet you thought I forgot. See, that’s what happens when you say things like: “I don’t think a guy like Freddie Adu warrants more than substitute time.”
Imagine what you’d have to do if Heydude got bored…

In other news, we can all wonder what Freddy would like to ask Shawn Johnson….
“@ShawneyJ follow me so i can direct message you. wanna ask you something”

Oh, it’s not what he’s gonna ask her. It’s what he’s gonna show her. JoJo gonna be jealous.

hey guys, article up on soccernet saying that schalke midfielder jermaine jones has decided to switch his nationality from german to american. what do you guys think about it?
i’m not too big a fan bc (a) defensive mid which we have enough of, (b) he’s 27, and (c) he seems like a dick according to wikiipedia.

I’m going to have to second that, SP. Wikipedia does make him sound like a dick; but not more than his own website: http://www.jermaine-jones.de/

America, F### yeah!
Bring on Jermaine Jones. You can’t have too many quality guys. It’ll be interesting to see how this works out because we get pretty defensive minded if we insert him with Bradley though Bradley has enough flexibility to get forward.
I’m sure this is a Gold Cup callup. Can’t wait to see him in action.
