where do you get the right to place the blame on him? and not only that, but totally knock him as a player? pretty sure i've never heard of you on the professional scene...

obviously drew is a great soccer player otherwise he wouldn't have been picked up professionally. maybe he didn't have such a great game, but seriously...this post you put up is ridiculous

While Drew Moor had a horrible game, I can't say much more about the rest of the US defense. They looked disorganized and confused the entire match. If Drew Moor was the only RB on the roster, isn't that Bob's fault? I have been trying to figure out what the US brain trust sees in Bobby Convey, ever since he first came up to the senior team. Hopefully, matches such as this one are simply opportunities for Bob to see what he has and be able to jettison the chafe, prior qualifying.

You're right about that Carter Daly, both of Mexico's goals were scored on Drew Moor. But remember also that Drew Moor gave the assist for Jozy Altidore to score. If Moor really had been benched, how would Altidore have scored? I think too much pressure was put on Drew Moor, it was only his 4th appearance for the kid. I think he should be given a second chance, but against an opponent lower in skill than Mexico. Perhaps Poland, but definitely not Spain or England until he improves his level. Regardless though, I don't think Moor should be used as a scapegoat for the US's performance. That fact remains that for the whole game, we relied on counterattacks, almost Italian Catenacchio, rather than straight-out attacking like we should be doing. Bradley needs to realize that u can't win a game by defending, in fact, the best defense is a good offense. If we couldn't penetrate Mexico's defense, then perhaps Bradley should of reconsidered his tactics or lineups, wouldn't u agree? I'm proud of what the US has accomplished in CONCACAF and especially against Mexico, but when we're tested like that by a good rival we need to be ready to respond and attack for both halfs, not sit back and defend. We're not Italy, that's not how we play, we're the US, and we need to create our own distictive style.

The loss is clearly not only on Drew's shoulders. But the fact remains, both set piece goals were scored on him.

I don't think it's fair to blame the US's mediocre performance against a great team on one player, it's a lot deeper than that. Mexico may not be Brazil, but they play pretty well, and when we send a bad line up like we did against them, they will of course make us look bad. The midfield was extremely weak, the LB and RB were also, but it wasn't just Drew Moor's fault. We also do not give proper credit to Mexico, they are a great team and even if Drew Moor had been on the bench, I still don't think we would have beat them, not with the way they played. They actually played to win, while we defended the whole game. My thoughts.

If it wasn't for Moor's contribution to Mexico tieing us, I'd say at least he assisted in Jozy's first US goal. But no, we might have won if he had stayed on the bench where he belonged.
