Transfer Updates

Simple recap of the latest transfer news. Lets see what sticks.

-Lee Nguyen is closing in on a loan deal with another unamed club in Holland (Americansoccerdaily.com).

-The two leading clubs for young American Danny Szetela are Siena and (suddenly young yank happy) Celtic (Americansoccerdaily.com).

-The Freddy list looks like this in no particular order. Celtic, Parma, Tottenham, plus Feyenoord who Ives claimed he heard a rumor about them having interest, but was not so sure how true it was. I am taking Lyon and Valencia off for now, although his agent dropped Spain as a potential destination.

-Celtic are said to have interest in Jozy Altidore, but he is still only 17 so he cannot make the move. I see him sticking around in MLS for another year or two (MLSUnderground.blogspot.com).

-Eddie Johnson nixed the move to Derby (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=570438).
