No Freddy. No Jozy.
Ok, I can understand Jozy for the MLS schedual being stupid, but Freddy is in Europe, and as far as I recall they take international breaks.
Leaving out a kid like Freddy who is on a break for a guy like Davy Arnaud…are you kidding me Bob?
One positive though was Clint Dempsey’s showing this weekend for Fulham. A goal and two assists against Spurs, his second goal in two games. Clint looks like he is starting to come into his own in the Prem., let’s see him bring that back to the international level.
The lack of posts has been due to the holiday, I’ll be back for more on the upcoming friendly and other stuff tommorow.
In the meantime, how do you feel about the roster? Snubs? Davy Arnaud? Discuss…

I’ll be at the game v. Brazil and it’s going to be my first international men’s game, so I’m pretty damned excited.

yea who is this Davy Arnaud on the roster and why isn’t his name Jozy Altidore. Cause, you know, calling up random/unknown players worked so well at the Copa America. Next thing Bob Bradley will do is call up Eric Wynalda. And Josh Wolff is 30, time to get some new strikers.

Forget the Red Bulls stupid schedule. The game’s a two-hour flight from New York, and Altidore has earned his call-up. Just doesn’t seem to me that BOTH Arnaud and Wolff should be called ahead of Altidore. And, as elle says, Wolff is 30. He’ll be 33 for the World Cup, so I don’t see the logic in bringing him to this game, unless Bradley thinks that for some reason we’ll need to rely on him during qualifying. And I sure hope that isn’t what Bradley’s thinking. That’s a depressing thought.

I guess we can look forward to Eddie Johnson starting up front again. Fan-freakin’-tastic. (Sarcasm definitely intended.)

i am really dissapointed, with jozys form this year i thought for sure he would get a call up for a match in chicago. i was looking forward to see how he would do. im still excited to see how we do but not seeing jozy (and some of the other u-20s) is dissapointing.
